A modernist texture

A Modernist Texture
by Jamie Geller Dutra

The artist made a piece of texture. Inside is shown shapes leaves using the secondary colors green and purple. She used the paintbrush for pointing the little pink stains are like the the petals falling during spring. The biggest leaves balance with the little purple ones. But since is a little piece of mural if might be better hold in case it can flies, it is a sensitive piece of art texture.
The artist tries to communicate the appropriate colors wether a person could wear in different season. For examples, these colors are more suitable for the winter time.
It is a successful piece of art because it represents part of the envioronment that we all are living and related to the nature.

Fashionable women

Two Vain Fashionable Women~!!

This is a picture that I created 4 months ago when I was interested to study fashion designer. Besides that, I've always wanted to be involved in something about fashion, even fashion merchandise or fashion marketing. However, I chose to study fashion designer because I wanted to learn the basic skills and then after that to create my own clothing style. In comparison, if I would chose fashion merchandise or marketing i would ended up working in a boutique as an employee, and for it a person doesn't need a lot of studies. Also, I really wanted to find out if that was the right path for me or not. So, I decided to start drawing. This is the only picture I draw and it took me 2 hours making it. In fact, I gave up to my dreams, and I chose another major that I could find an easier and more secure job. After all, a fashion designer career wasn't that easy because after I have learned the skills; I will have to use my own ideas and creativity(produce). It is a lot of thinking too. In summary, I decided to challenge myself by drawing before applying for Columbia College. I could wasted my time and money for the general courses for fashion designer, so it was a good thing that I realized it earlier by drawings.
